The breath brought me here.
It can bring you here too.
Colleen Loehr, MD
I'm a board-certified psychiatrist and Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. For over two decades I've walked alongside people navigating addiction, trauma, and the quiet suffering that anxiety creates. I know this work from the inside. I've been sober for 23 years.
What I found, and what changed my practice, was the breath. I'm a Certified SKY Breath Meditation Instructor through the Art of Living Foundation and a Breath-Body-Mind Instructor — two research-backed approaches that work directly with the nervous system to reduce stress, process trauma, and restore a felt sense of peace.
Breathwork reaches where talk therapy and medication sometimes can't. It meets people in their bodies, where so much of their pain actually lives. I've seen it work in my own life. I've seen it work in the lives of the people I serve.
Compassionate. Grounded. Whole-person care.
The people I work with are often dealing with stress and anxiety that lives in their bodies — symptoms they've tried to manage through thinking, talking, or medicating. They are loving people who want meaningful change and deserve a non-judgmental space to find it.
My approach is primarily experiential. I don't teach breathwork as a technique to be mastered. I guide people into their own direct experience — of calm, of presence, of the profound resource that is their own breath.
The goal is simple: you leave with tools that belong to you, that work when you need them most, and that keep working long after our sessions end.
The experience behind the work.
